Abby Gervais' Old/New Apartment

Many thanks to mom-and-daughter Sandy and Abby Gervais for writing us about Sandy's fresh-retro fall collection, Fall Back in Time! August has arrived and once again it’s time for me to make my annual move to a new apartment. With a new apartment comes decorating! When I saw my mom’s (Sandy Gervais) Fall Back In Time fabric I knew I had to decorate my new bedroom with it. The fun bright colors, polka dots, and stripes brought a smile to my face.

Mom and I went right to work creating a fun hip bedroom for me. Within a day we had made a quilt, pillow shams, pillow cases, and a shower curtain. I was thrilled!! I couldn't wait to see it all together in my new room. Mom added some more of her creative touch with fun pictures which completed my room.

My apartment turned out great! It’s a combination of my style mixed with my mom’s creativity, a combination that truly makes my new apartment feel like home! I am so lucky to have a talented mom that has the ability to take my visions and create them on paper or fabric.
