I tried to make it....but there is no sugar in the first part of the ingredients to cream the butter with.....can you tell me how much sugar. Thanks!

I am so pleased that you posted this recipe. My mother used to make it with chopped walnuts in the chocolate chip mix, but she has Alzheimer's now, and I thought that my chances were slim of finding the recipe now.
