This collection is decked out in the signature American Jane bright primaries, decorated with cute dots, stripes, and checks. At Fat Quarter Shop, we've conveniently split this collection into four color bundles for you! Sandy Klop returns to the Jolly Jabber to share her inspiration with us.
Recess was inspired by images of children playing together from a 1934 1st Grade Reader. These children at play appear in the Recess panel. I used the panel in two quilts, Friends at Play (available at Fat Quarter Shop) and Windows (Windows, See Saw, Let's Go, and Popsicle Posies are available at americanjane.com). Friends at Play is fabric intensive and Windows uses a Layer Cake.
Other quilts I made are See Saw which uses two Jelly Rolls, Let's Go where you can make two quilts with one Jelly Roll and Popsicle Posies which uses 5 charm packs. See Saw and Let's Go uses three equilateral triangles to make diamonds and these three triangles are available from americanjane.com.
