Darlene Zimmerman's 2009 Clothesline Club

This year's Clothesline Club has just begun, and we are really looking forward to this year's projects!

For those of you who've never heard of the Clothesline Club before, quilt/textile historian Darlene Zimmerman (just one of her many hats) designs 1930s-era projects for this Robert Kaufman club. Each month, our members receive a project kit complete with instructions, all the fabric for the project, and a newsletter from Darlene. Membership is always open!

This year, Darlene has themed the club around family and family gatherings. That means plenty of baby quilts, cute aprons, Christmas accessories, table toppers, and a diaper bag and hand towel to boot! Click on the image for a complete list of projects. This year's club will use four of Darlene Zimmerman's 1930s fabric collections, starting with the Home Sweet Home line.

Let us know if you have any questions or would like more information about the Club! And TGIF!

P.S. Stay tuned...we've got something new and exciting brewing for next week!
