Jolly Jabber Block Lottery EXTENDED

** Edit: The Jolly Jabber Block Lottery has ended! Thanks for participating! **

Hi all! You may remember our announcement back in May about the Jolly Jabber Block Lottery, and subsequent Lottery updates. We cannot BELIEVE it's already been a MONTH since then, with all the busyness of Spring Market and new clubs (like the reveal of Pennsylvania Dutch BOM, Anne Sutton's A Vintage Christmas BOM, Joanna Figueroa's Fig Tree Club, Moda's Green Piece BOM--more on that tomorrow!, and of course the start of the 2009 Designer Mystery BOM).

Yeah -- that's a lot!!! Also, we're still getting comments from people who want to join in!

Anyhoo, because of all that we did not want to let the Block Lottery get lost in the shuffle, so we are extending the deadline until Friday, July 17.

P.S. E-mail if you have sent blocks! We want to make sure we've received all of the ones sent so far!

If you haven't heard about our Block Lottery yet, go to our original post for details. Basically, submit a block (or two or three!) for a chance to win a set of blocks or a Gift Certificate to Fat Quarter Shop!

You can see the blocks have already been submitted on our Jolly Jabber Block Lottery Gallery! We've seen some awesome ones so far. They could be yours! ;)

Here's just a taste... From Megumi Koga, Carol Todd, Jedde Jargensen, Calee Himes, and Michelle Rodriguez. Pretty amazin', right??

What an excellent company to be in.
The fabric in my block is “Say it with flowers” by Ro Gregg, from the Fat Quarter Shop´s Northcott Fat quarter Club, bought in 2006. My block is paper pieced, the most common method in Denmark.

Have a nice summer

Thanks for the comments on my blocks.
I couldn't sign in so let me answer the questions(

This is not a pattern for quilts. If you search"penrose tiling",you can see various images like this. I choose two of them.(for green, blue and yellow star /yellow,red,and green one)
You need only two templates, one is a thin rhomb which has angles of 36 and 144 degrees, and the other is a thick one which has angles of 72 and 108 degrees.

It's a little bit complex to piece together, but it looks so gorgeous!
Have a try!
