Moda Bake Shop Project by The Quilted Fish

We met Amanda Herring, the designer of The Quilted Fish patterns at Fall Market in October and were instantly wowed by her talent, energy & sweet personality.

On top of all that, we think her pieced and appliqué patterns are fresh and out-of-the-box fun.

Today, her first project for Moda Bake Shop is online, and we're excited to be the Shop for the kits! Her project is called Verna's Flower Quilt, and it's every girl's girly-guilty pleasure. It finishes at 40" x 50" and is embellished with rows of ruffles and button-studded flowers. This quilt shows off the full range of spring colors in Kate Spain's debut collection Verna for Moda (which Kimberly has, on various occasions, called "the best fabric ever".)

Yardage for Verna will arrive very soon, so sign up to be notified when the kits are ready, and we'll email you as soon as they are available to purchase! Our quilt kit will include all the fabric you need (quilt top, binding and backing) and Amanda's pattern, without the button embellishments.

Go see Amanda's project and see how your little inner girl squeals!

P.S. And oh man, just saw that Amanda's also doing a giveaway of one of her Verna Flower Quilt samples over at her blog!!
