Looking Back by Brannock & Patek for Moda Fabrics

We're back with mo' love for mo' Moda! (I kinda like that phrase -- it's catchy -- maybe I should make Mo' Moda stickers! Huh!) Anyways, Jan Patek tempted us way back on her blog with photos of her Looking Back line. Now it is here and available for you to fondle as you please! We won't judge. We're too busy with our own fabric-fondling ;) Anyways, Jan joins us with a few words on her newest line for Moda. Darker than their previous line, Blessings, the prints are true to the early American countryside. The rich burnished golds, olives, reds and blues are warm and inviting.

Looking Back is available in Fat Quarter Bundles, Layer Cakes, Charm Packs and Jelly Rolls, along with an exclusive kit and Jan's patterns!

My pal Linda Brannock and I have been collecting fabrics "since Shep was a pup". I truly think we have a neverending supply. It's just something we've always done - long before we started designing fabrics.

My favorite prints in Looking Back are just about all of them, since the idea behind Looking Back was to reprint some of our favorites from the gorgeous pieces we've collected over the years.

What's going on with me now? I'm designing quilts using my next line for Moda, called Remembrance that will show at Spring Market 2010. The Looking Back quilts are all in France being photographed for the French Quilt Country magazine - even the Four Flags one. It really surprised me that they wanted it too.

I hope you enjoy this line and let the Fat Quarter Shop girls know what you think! I'll be working on Remembrance and can't wait to show you.
