Blog Tour: Scrap Republic + Giveaway!

Good morning everyone and thanks for stopping in to the Jolly Jabber today! We're very excited to be stop #3 of the Scrap Republic Blog Tour! I hope you're ready for this...

Scrap Republic is a wonderful book focusing on the joys and colors of your scraps. Yes, that's right--your scraps. We all know we have way too many...we hoard them in our studios and quilt rooms, letting our scrap stash get bigger and bigger until one day it takes over the whole house! Ok, maybe not, but I mean, there has to be an amazing scrap pattern out there somewhere right? Well, look no further. Scrap Republic by Emily Cier of Carolina Patchworks is chock full of amazing patterns that totally utilize your scraps and showcase the beautiful colors (but they also have the yardage requirements just in case your scrap stash isn't fully stocked!)

Please feast your eyes on this beautiful quilt! See, the thing about scraps is sometimes it's hard to see the full print, but would you get a load of that color?! Talk about a treat for the eyes! Personally, I can't get enough color! Today, day 3 of the blog tour, we're falling in love with the color red. Have you ever noticed all the amazing things that are red?

Whether you are in love with color or maybe just dying to deplete your scrap stash a little bit, check out this book, Scrap Republic! I'm sure there's a perfect scrap pattern just for you! And if you need some motivation, check out these five great giveaway gifts that you could win!

Anything red or purple is my choice right now. Have always been fond of them but after sewing so much pink for my daughter, I think I am reaching out to them much more...anything but more pink! :P

Every day of the contest, I seem to be changing what my favorite color is...LOL -- today it's red...like the color of red peppers. Or pomegranates.

I am really digging a rich yellow right now, I have used it in two quilts and it really adds a bright happiness to them. (But my favorite color is a teal that leans toward blue!)

WOW! Today is Canadian Thanksgiving and I am thankful to have found this book tour and really thankful that although I live in Canada, I have a US mailing address! As for colours I am loving blue with orange in my son's quilt and the last project that was purple and sage was really great too! Colours stress me out so I am hoping this book will help ease the stress!!

I love your red collage! Fabulous! I love a good red with white polka dots. Always necessary!

I do like red...a lot! But my favorite color is green. And I really like orange too. Can I have more than one?

Well I think I'm finally starting to spread my color wings. I've been in a few Civil War BOMs and even though I love those fabrics, I'm starting to pay more attention to brighter colors. Right now my favorites are red and aqua.

Thank you and the Sponsors for the giveaways and a chance to win.
