Q: What will you be making with your Blogger’s Choice Fat Quarter Bundle?
A: My selections were inspired by lonesome vintage quilt squares -- you know the kind that you find at antique malls and estate sales? I have lots of simple 4- and 9-patch squares in my collection. I picked out these fabrics thinking I would make the same kind of thing, except (maybe) actually turn them into a quilt.

Q: What quilt project are you currently working on?
A: The project I finished most recently was the snail log cabin quilt from Dare to Be Square by Boo Davis. I'm working on the Dachshund quilt from the same book. The quilting lines are going to be criss-crossed so I'll end up with a plaid pattern. I love all the pixelly creatures in the book, and they're really easy to make.
