What was the first seed that grew into the Curious Nature collection?
A:
Strange elements and shapes in nature, rock music, folk art, mid-century design, motion, fashion, all things that I find exciting and soothing at the same time.

If your collection had a soundtrack what would be on the list?
A:
Great question! Miles Davis, Jimi Hendrix, Leonard Cohen, Woody Guthrie, Rolling Stones, Dave Brubeck, David Bowie.

What is your favorite project you have made using this collection?
A:
Certainly the Curious Nature Bulls-eye quilt! (Also found on Fat Quarter Shop's Free Pattern Page.)

If this collection had a scent to it, what would it be?
A:
Bay Rum.

Can you give us a sneak-peek of your next fabric collection?
A:
I can tell you it will be called "Seven Wonders" and will work alongside Curious Nature, but we haven't edited the SKUs yet and I'd feel dumb if I showed something that didn't make the final cut! It will release this summer.

If you had a mascot, what animal would it be?
A:
An Owl. (That's an easy one.)

Who is your favorite celebrity?
A:
Oh I'm a fan of Michael Cain. Especially his older movies like Get Carter.

If we were making a movie about your life, who would you want to play you?
A:
Ralph Fiennes could probably pull it off.
