Designer Tidbits: Bunny Hill Designs

The Fat Quarter Shop is excited to welcome Anne Sutton of Bunny Hill Designs to the Jolly Jabber (aka as The Bunny Lady to my kids!). Anne’s latest fabric collection is Ooh La La from Moda Fabrics.

Q: What was the first seed that grew into the Ooh La La collection?
A: With all the stories I’ve heard about France I should have known that my first trip would inspire a fabric line! Ooh La La is a combination of French words, a toile inspired by the French countryside, tiny silver spoons inspired by the French Flea markets and a panel filled with French houses, the Eiffel Tower and fleur de lys.

Q: If your collection had a soundtrack what would be on the list?
A: Of course it has to be "I Love Paris."  Sing this song as you look at this fabric line :>)

Q: What single print/SKU in the collection is your favorite?
A: The tiny little spoons.

Q: If this collection had a scent to it, what would it be?
A: Roses from all the French gardens.

Q: Can you give us a sneak-peek of your next fabric collection?
A: You’ll have to wait to see but here’s a little hint…I’ve been practicing my calligraphy!

Q: Who is your favorite celebrity?
A: Audrey Hepburn. I saw every movie she ever made.

Q: If we were making a movie about your life, who would you want to play you?
A: Meryl Streep. Who wouldn’t want Meryl Streep?

Q: Who is your favorite fabric designer not including yourself?
A: Rachel Ashwell of Shabby Chic.
