Quilt Market Spring 2012: Day 2

Can you believe how fast the last 72 hours have gone by?! It's already the end of Day 2, and Market will soon be coming to a close for us (we take off for Texas tomorrow). We will be sad to see the end of it, but we feel so fortunate to have been a part of this! And we are so, so appreciative of y'all following along and experiencing Market right by our side! It has truly been an amazingly gorgeous and creative weekend! We can't wait to show you all the great stuff we saw today...and you probably can't wait either! So without any further ado, feast your eyes on the deliciousness of Day 2 (oh! and ANOTHER giveaway!):

Sandy Klop of American Jane sure has a lot to smile about! Look at how cute her latest patterns are, not to mention all that great fabric!

We're really loving the classic patriotic feel of Primitive Gatherings' booth! Get ready for Old Glory Gatherings!

Sandy Gervais and her new collection, Everlastings, are both so whimsical and lovable!

Blackbird Designs' booth was as elegant as ever, featuring an actual fireplace and a gorgeous new collection, Cinnamon Spice.

Just hanging out with Julie Herman of Jaybird Quilts in her awesomely colorful booth! All the bright colors are so refreshing and wonderful!

Tula Pink's booth was divided down the middle, a representation of the duality of her personality and her two new collections, Nightshade and The Birds and the Bees.

Jamie and Lindsay of Dear Stella strike a pose in front of the Out in the Wild quilt by It's Sew Emma, featuring Play Date.

Check out these awesome modern quilts made with Soho Cotton Solids. That's right - Timeless Treasures is coming out with their very own solids collection!

Penguin & Fish of Clothworks Fabrics always have the most adorable embroidery patterns hanging in their booth! I love the little jellyfish!

As always, Amy Butler's booth was stunning! Can't wait for Cameo, her newest collection, to come out! And they are making bundles of her basic dots!

A few Free Spirit designers hanging out in front of the Cocoon booth! From left to right, Valori Wells, Parson Gray aka David Butler, and Anna Maria Horner.

Anna Maria Horner's booth was chock full of interesting things to look at! We are in love with the decoupaged panther, covered in Field Study.

Michael Miller's booth was a circus - literally! They had clowns, lions, elephants and popcorn!

Patty Young of Modkid for Michael Miller strikes a pose in her booth, surrounded by her latest collection, Heaven and Helsinki, coming to stores in June.

Winterkist by Monica Solorio-Snow for Lecien Fabrics is such a refreshing take on color. The little gnomes are back and ready to play all over your quilts!

The Marcus Fabrics booth is always filled with rich classics like this one.

The Women of Courage Block of the Month by Windham Fabrics is going to be a good one! Make sure to sign up now!

Little Kukla by Suzy Ultman for Robert Kaufman Fabrics is super cute and unique!

Everyone loves Northcott's Stonehenge!

Jocelyn and Pam Buda of Heartspun Quilts! We were her very first customer at her first Quilt Market not too long ago, and she is still very special to us!

Terri Degenkolb of Whimsicals shows off her copy of Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks in her charming primitive styled booth!

The little ruffle is a wonderful added touch to the Red Rooster booth!

If you just can't get enough of Quilt Market, make sure you follow us on Twitter! Any tweet hash-tagged with #quiltmarket went to this live feed, and as you can see, we have it covered!

And even after a long day of exploring and tweeting about Market, we still make time for our creative sides. Sarah and Jocelyn got their craft on with Amanda Herring from The Quilted Fish, making these stylish fabric necklaces!

As you can see from our photos, there is always tons to see at Market! And as the fabric and quilt lovers that we are, we really want to see all of it! What does that mean for us? A LOT of walking! So it's very important to bring the right shoes, which we did! For this giveaway, we'd thought we'd get a little personal with y'all and let you see who we are in terms of shoes! All you have to do is take a look at the picture below and try to guess who is wearing which ultra-comfy-super-duper-walking shoes at Market right now:

Just leave a comment on this post matching each numbered head shot with a lettered pair of shoes. If you guess correctly, you could be the lucky winner of this Simply Color Fat Quarter Bundle by V and Co. for Moda Fabrics (that's right! Vanessa Christenson is designing for Moda now!). But that's not all, you'll also win four brand new It's Sew Emma Patterns:

The contest will close tomorrow, May 20th, at 10:00 PM CST. The winner will be announced on Monday, May 21st. Good luck!
