The Fat Quarter Shop is excited to welcome Barbara Jones of Quilt Soup to the Jolly Jabber. Barbara’s latest fabric collection is Frank-n-Friends from Henry Glass Fabrics.
Q:
What or who would you dedicate the Frank-n-Friends collection to? Do you have an inspiration board?
A:
I would dedicate this collection to all the little children who love, love, love Halloween and also to their busy mothers.
Q:
What is your favorite project using this collection?
A:
My favorite project using this collection is our pillows. We did a couple of pillows using the same angled pattern pieces and formatted one long and low and the other square. I like having two different shapes that work together.
Q:
If time travel became possible, what year would you want to be in?
A:
If time travel became possible I would want to be right where I am.
Q:
If you had to change your first name what would you change it to?
A:
If I were changing my first name I would change it to Hannah or Grace. But then I would need to change my last name to go with those choices better and then I wouldn't know when someone was talking to me because I wouldn't recognize the name!
Q:
What was your favorite childhood TV show?
A:
My favorite childhood TV shows were Perry Mason, American Bandstand and The Sonny and Cher Show.
Q:
Who is the most famous person you have ever met?
A:
I met and visited with Nancy Halvorsen for a few minutes at Quilt Market in Kansas City. She is from my neck of the woods and I don't know why we had never met before. She is as lovely as you would expect her to be.
Q:
What is your favorite App to play on your phone?
A:
I don’t play any apps on my phone. I play solitaire on my iPad if that counts!
Q:
If you could marry a technology, what would it be?
A:
I haven't met the technology I would marry yet…..kind of like men!
