Q1: To what or whom would you dedicate this collection, or what inspired this collection?
A: I would dedicate this and other collections to all of the creative makers in the world, to the people that use my fabric and make them come alive. Fabric is to be used and loved. It is amazing to see these wonderful dresses, blankets, totes, mobiles and more made out of my patterns and motifs.

Q: What is your favorite project using this collection?
A: That is hard to say, but the first thing I will make is some yellow striped curtains for my living room. They will go so well with our new gray couch.

Q: If you could live in a movie, what movie would it be?
A: Breakfast at Tiffany's, but about a one week visit is probably enough!

Q: What do you get nostalgic over?
A: Spending time in nature on Åland, where I spent summers as a kid and where I now spend summers with my kid.

Q: What is your favorite TV show of all time?
A: I must admit I loved Dallas back in the eighties, and I am currently fond of Friday Night Lights and some Swedish shows.

Q: If you could be a modern day fictional character, who would you be?
A: Wouldn’t it be cool to be able to shoot with a bow and arrow like Katniss?

Q: What’s the strangest compliment you’ve ever received?
A: “Your work reminds me of my feelings for my grandmother and grandfather in Japan.” It was an unusual compliment to receive, but so utterly sweet and sincere
