Aurifil Thread Boxes are all the rage. Aurifil is well established as a favorite among quilters for their quality and durability. Quilters frequently use white, grey and black thread to piece their quilts. To spice up your thread options, Aurifil releases collections of thread to perfectly match certain popular fabric collections. You can appliqué with style and confidence, knowing that your thread will blend in flawlessly. Just grab a thread box that perfectly matches your fabric collection and get sewing!
We are featuring three new Aurifil thread collections that coordinate perfectly with three Moda collections. Combining Moda and Aurifil is a sure-fire way to produce a striking, colorful quilt! Today we are featuring (and giving away) Minick and Simpson’s Independence Trail, Vanessa Christenson's Simply Color and Pat Sloan’s Eat Your Fruits and Veggies thread boxes to our Jolly Jabber readers!
Minick and Simpson's Independence Trail Thread Box contains 10 spools of Aurifil cotton thread to coordinate perfectly with their Independence Trail collection. Fortunately for all of the Minick and Simpson fans, these spools go strikingly well with Indigo Crossing and well, most all of their collections! At least three to four spools in the box will work in all of their past collections.
V and Co's Simply Color Large Thread Box contains 12 spools made to match her debut collection. Her thread is bright and vibrant but will blend in perfectly with the colors in Simply Color.
Pat Sloan's Eat Your Fruits and Veggies Thread Box gets us in the mood for a healthy lunch. The 12 spools in her Large Aurifil Thread Box matches perfectly with her new collection Eat Your Fruits and Veggies, so stitch yourself up a tomato or an apple!
We are giving away one of each thread box featured to our lovely readers! Comment below letting us know what coming soon collection should have a coordinating thread box for a chance to win! A winner will be chosen at random on Monday (10/22/12). Good luck!

«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 349 of 349 Newer› Newest»Kate Spain's Honey Honey (or Cuzco) or and Lily Ashbury collection
I think Posy - Annela Hoey! thanks!
I think one for Noteworthy would be good, I love that whole collection, so coordinating thread would be good too!
I love Audra's Iris Garden by Brannock and Patek (Moda). I think it would make a fabulous Aurifil Collection.
Grace
gmp505@aol.com
Honey Honey by Kate Spain or Simply Color by V & CO. Those would be great.
I think I will pick Posy - Great giveaway, Thanks jillfroelich@yahoo.com
These are always so difficult, there are so many choices. I will go with Garden Grove by Kim Diehl.
Salt Water by Tula Pink absolutely deserves a box!
Kate Spain's Honey Honey. Can't wait for this one to arrive!
I am thrilled that there is more Marmalade coming out! I vote thread set to match Marmalade Cottage! awolk at rogers dot com
I think a set of threads for Audra's Iris Garden would be great!
I think 12 Days of Christmas!
I am simply in love with Antoinette by Michele D'Amore for Benartex Fabrics and it took awhile to figure out what Aurifil Thread Box would do these fabrics justice and I've finally decided on Simply Color Large Aurifil Thread Box. Thank you for yet another great giveaway and good luck everyone!
I love to see thread for 'a year to crow about':D.
Love you're colours already ;)
Audra's Iris Garden would be a beautiful color set
I'm looking forward to noteworthy!
I have been dreaming of the Posy box with those outstanding shades -- could put them to a wonderful end - thank you for the giveaway !}
Yep, you got it Simply Color. But Pirate Matey's looks like a lot of fun for a new little boy in my life.
I am all about blues, so I have been on pins and needles waiting for the Minick and Simpson Indigo Crossing fabrics since Laurie showed them on her blog. Love it!!
Amethyst definitely the amethyst :) Thank you for the give~away!
Amethyst needs its own collection of thread. What a beautiful color combo.
Love these new boxes!!!! Tula Pink's Saltwater needs one!!!
Holly Jolly Christmas by Mary Lake-Thompson for Robert Kaufman Fabrics
All Hands on Deck! Yardage/Jack and Lulu for Dear Stella Fabrics would be my choice. Love, love, love those nautical fabrics!`
I'd love to see an Aurifil thread collection by Kate Spain for Cuzco! The colors are so gorgeous in that collection! Thanks for the incredible giveaway!
Honey, Honey - thanks for the chance to win! I heart aurifil!
I can't resist Hearthside Seasons by Kim Diehl for Henry Glass Fabrics. Rich autumn colors make you think of the warmth and comfort of a fire and the upcoming holiday season. Carol G
I think that Kaffe's Spot On should haev it's own thread box. It has so many wonderful bright colors that look hard to match.
and I love the Simply Color Box. I would love to play with those.
Denise
I would love thread to match Kate Spain's collection. I love the colors in her fabric lines. Thanks for a chance to win!
Oh, my, how does one chose a single collection!
Any of the batiks would be fun to see.
Amethyst
Cuzco
Honey Honey
and many more are deserving of their own collections of Aurofil threads!
Oh Chinoise would be just lovely - such beautiful colors, I want them all!
Thanks for such a wonderful contest!
Jennifer
jeng@phanstielent.com
So hard to choose, but if I had to pick just one....Posy. Thanks for the great giveaway and opportunity to win.
Hard to choose
My vote would be for a collection for a collection that would go with patriotic fabrics for Quilts Of Valor.
Salt water gets my vote. Thanks for your drawings.
I couldn't choose just one as there are 2 lines I am crazy about first being Hearthside Seasons by Kim Diehl for Henry glass and the second would be Black White and Currant4 by Color Principle for Henry Glass. Aren't they both just beautiful? Of course they are! Thanks for a chance to win. I use Aurifil exclusively for all my sewing, quilting and stitching.
Atlantis from Jason Yenter would be awesome.
Amethyst Yardage - Beautiful fabrics. This should have its own set of threads! Thanks for the chance to win these wonderful threads!
Patty Young's Textured Basics!
How about Notting Hill. It would be most excellent to win..... threads are crossed!
Honey, Honey or Cuzco. Both would be great.
How about Marcia Derse's Petites?
I'd love to see an Aurifil collection to match with Kate Spain's Cuzco or Honey Honey collections, or Bonnie & Camille's Marmalade (or any of their collections, really!)
Those thread collections look wonderful! I'd love to see one for Posy by Aneela Hoey. Thanks for the chance to win :-)
I would love Aurifil thread to go with Cuzco by Kate Spain, or Notting Hill by Joel Dewberry.
Greetings from Northern Saskatchewan CANADA! I love the new Aurifil colors - especially the Independence Trail! I wish they would come out with it in Aurifil 12wt Lana Wool for applique though! Now they have the new wool in their line! We are addicted to wool applique up here!
Color Splash Batiks by Moda would be choice. Thanks for the chance to win.
I could put at least a dozen different collections, but when I got to "Rebecca" from Windham Fabrics, I fell in love! That collection DEFINITELY needs a set of thread to go with it!
Thanks for the giveaway!
Robyn Pandolph's Incense and Peppermints is my pick. I made my first quilt with her fabrics several years ago and she remains one of my favorite designers. I love the colors in this new 'coming soon' line.
Cant wait for Honey, Honey by Kate Spain!
Paris Flea market! Those colors are awesome!
Well my favourite is the Blushing collection by Margot Languedoc for Henry Glass Fabrics, so a matching set of threads for that would be WONDERFUL!
Judi
Riley Blake designs are so crisp & cherry. Thank you for the chance to win.
Cuzco!!!
The Rainbow Stonehenge would be a great one to match
thanks!
I think Amethyst Yardage should have threads
The Garden Grove collection. Such lovely colors. Thanks!
I, too, would love to see a special thread collection for Moda's Cuzco line.
I really would like to see thread for Storybook Classic or Pam Kitty Love. Thanks for the chance to win.
wigglypup2(at)yahoo(dot)com
Amethyst for sure - suck a pretty grouping of fabric! Paired with the right threads ... mmm! Yummy!!
I would love a coordinating set for Civil War Melodies, but then again, what set wouldn’t I love?
Winter Warmth by Wilmington has some lovely colors. dinnes@shaw.ca
Cuzco! can't pass up those colors!
I pick two, Flutter Fat -The Quilted Fish and Rainbow Stonehenge - Linda Ludovico for Northcott Fabrics because I want them both. And think how pretty that thread will be!
Two collections have a set of colors I would love: Coral Reef Batiks and Dark Hot Chocolate.
Baby Birds by Studio E is adorable, a set to work with this would be great. Thanks for the chance.
ks(dot)eyles(at)yahoo(dot)co(dot)uk
I would love a kit for Amethyst. Love the colors in that group. Thank!1
I like to see a thread collection for unusual fabric palettes like Field Notes or Salt Water. Love Aurifil thread, hope to win!!
Baby Buddies would be a great one to base a collection off of, nice calm pastels.
Definitely "Shelburne Falls" by Denise Schmidt!!
Thanks for the chance!Pat Bravo's upcoming Carnaby Street:)
I would like Honey, Honey.
For me it would be a toss up for the Pat Sloan's Eat Your Fruits and Veggies Thread Box or the
V and Co's Simply Color Large Thread Box. Those are all great colors!
I think that Flutter by the Quilted Fish should have it's own thread box. It has such pretty colors in the collection.
Flirt by Moda!
Amethyst needs it's own box!
It's a tie for me, between that cute Cruzin' line, or the Riley Blake "Cotton" line(s)... Dots, gingham, etc. Either would be great :)
Well let's see....Cuzco by Kate Spain, Fabulous Felines by Laurel Burch, Birds of Paradise Batiks, Coral Reef Batiks, just to name a few are more than worthy of having an Auriful collection!
I think either the Lady Bug Garden or the A-B-Seas collection would be lovely with a co-ordinating thread collection.
Thread for the Amethyst line would be beautiful!!
Sonyawood@tds.net
Calliope or Woodland Adventures. Eeks, I hope I win!!
I think Notting Hill would be a great collection of thread colors. Thanks for the chance to win.
Oooh.. I would love to see a thread set for Kaffe's Spot On collection. Lots of fun bright colors.
Anything by kate spain babscorbitt@gmail.com
All about boys of course! :) I have boys on the brain since mine is due in 7 weeks!
I would love to see an Aurifil thread collection for Paris Flea Market by 3 Sisters. Love those colors!
