We are starting a new little series on the Jolly Jabber! Each month we are going to tell you a little bit about whats trendy, popular or has sparked our attention. To make sure we cover our bases, we are starting with the basics.
Basics, especially solids, are necessities in so many projects to tie cute and bold prints together! They are often used as blenders, background fabric and sashing in quilts that feature prints. You also can find them stealing the show in the modern quilting community. Many modern patterns are written specifically to feature solids, such as the new line of patterns from Crazy Old Ladies, Sew Solid! (hear a bit more about Sew Solid and Crazy Old Ladies here)
Our two best selling groups of basics are Bella Solids by Moda Fabrics and Kona Solids by Robert Kaufman Fabrics. These two groups feature high quality, 100% cotton fabric in almost every color you can imagine. Feel free to stock up on these popular colors, or add some color from our large range of solids.
