Olivia Collection by Anna Griffin is a timeless collection. With pops of pink and green and exquisite botanical prints, Olivia will become a classic for girls of all ages. Anna Griffin is on the Jolly Jabber today to tell us a little about her newest beauty, Olivia.
Q:
What inspired this collection?
A:
My new Olivia Collection is inspired by the beautiful bouquets of flowers from my Grandmother’s garden – just in time for Spring. Growing up, my view from our kitchen window was of her special bed of bearded iris. The main print in Olivia is a swirling, over-sized bouquet of iris and cabbage roses much like my Grandmother would have made for her dining room table.
Q:
What is your favorite project using this collection?
A:
My favorite project has to be the quilt that we just showcased at the International Quilt Market. It’s light and airy and begs to be taken on a picnic!
Q:
What would be your collection’s theme song?
A:
Eighteen Yellow Roses by Bobby Darin.
Q:
If you could live in a movie, what movie would it be?
A:
It would have to be the original version of An Affair to Remember.
Q:
What do you get nostalgic over?
A:
Things my Mother left me, like her letters and cards.
Q:
What is your favorite TV show of all time?
A:
The Brady Bunch
Q:
If you could be a modern day fictional character, who would you be?
A:
Carrie Bradshaw
Q:
What’s the strangest compliment you’ve ever received?
A:
That I have beautiful feet...Ha!
