Pattern Play with the Fat Quarter Shop

I think that the New colonies collection would be great with the Peace and joy pattern. The tumbler shapes would be distinct and the quilt would be an explotion of color

The perfect fabric for that quilt would be Cherry Christmas" by Anella Hoey for Moda Fabrics. I can see it hanging over my brown leather chesterfield now..lol

I don't usually go for novelty fabric, but I think A Charlie Brown Christmas would be perfect for this quilt. Those tumbler blocks lend themselves to some great fussy cutting of adorable Peanuts characters.

For a striking accent, Santa and reindeers, elfs and penquins prancing around the border in the multi-border stripe fabric!
