'Don't be Crabby' would be super cute!
I like the chevron/zigzag layout better- they remind me of waves. So some crabs, boats, fish, whales, the tile pattern and voila SUPER CUTE children's science themed quilt.

I narrowed my choice to three collections that all had 6 or 7 base colors available. Then I picked Good Morning by Me and My Sister because the colors are bright and I like the idea of being able to include black on a baby quilt.

For a girl, I would use Honey Honey by Kate Spain. For a boy, I would use Thomas the Train or Who's That Train? From Timeless Treasures. The zigzags would look great for train tracks with a train theme.

There are a few collections that would be fabulous in this pattern, but for some reason I am always drawn back to the new 'Sesame Street' line - i think this would make a really fun quilt! Besides, I have always loved Sesame Street :-)
