Quilts and More Magazine Spring 2013

The Spring 2013 issue of Quilts and More has landed on newsstands! The issue contains two kits (well three, but one sold out!) that you can get right here at Fat Quarter Shop and we want to tell you a bit about them. Introducing Scrap Lab Out to Sea and Just the Ticket!

Scrap Lab Out to Sea is a simple, sweet pattern designed by Joanna Figueroa of Fig Tree & Co. It features the Out to Sea collection by Sarah Jane and comes from 16 fat eights. Joanna, like all of us, fell for Sarah Jane's novelty prints and chose to showcase them. The other little prints are perfect for the scrappy style blocks and the pop of red adds just the right amount of color. This scrappy crib quilt is fit for a nautical nursery filled to the brim with whimsy. Get the kit now, before it runs out, and shop the Out to Sea collection on our website.

Just the Ticket is sure to catch your attention and cause quite a show. For a fun twist on the rectangle, Julie Comstock used ticket-shape blocks, coordinating perfectly with Eric and Julie's upcoming collection, 2wenty Thr3e. The collection and kit are not yet available, but will be in March. Go now to sign up for notification of Just the Ticket's arrival. This quilt will certainly become the star of your show!

Find these two projects and many more in the Spring 2013 issue of Quilts and More Magazine!

The "Ticket" quilt is awesome! Love the background color and the quilting. Am really hooked on this 'modern' look!

I love "Just the Ticket". The background colour is perfect for this line - is it a Bella solid?

Just the Ticket is the perfect pattern for my Dad. He loves to go to movies, and I have been trying to think of something to do for him that is masculine and somehow 'represents' his interests. Thanks for showcasing it - I'll be sure to pick up the magazine now!
