After a very long winter in Minnesota, I really needed springtime and sunshine. So for Spring Quilt Market, I designed a new Block of the Month called "Charming & Quaint"! It is just what I needed to get in the springtime spirit!
For this program I chose fabrics from the new Vin Du Jour collection by 3 Sisters from Moda. It has a variety of fabrics in wonderful plum, warm red, honey yellow and light cream colors. The quilt features six different blocks and you piece two of the same blocks each month. The blocks are 12" finished and then you add a 1 1/2" background border to make them "float" on the quilt so they end up being 14" finished. The quilt is a great lap size at 65" X 82". I hope you enjoy this quilt as much as I did designing it for you!
The Charming & Quaint Block of the Month is a favorite of ours at Fat Quarter Shop! It made its way into Kimberly's Favorite Finds at Quilt Market video (at 2:34). And since you are signing up for the program with Fat Quarter Shop, you will have more fabrics than the pattern calls for.
