Garden of Bliss Quilt Kit

I’m no girly girl, but Tanya Whelan’s timeless roses always speak to me. Something about the sweetness of her color palette always inspires the retro side of my mind.

Her Petal collection was no different, and McCall’s Quilting was gracious enough to publish the result of this inspiration in their latest Simply Quick Quilts Autumn 2013 issue.

Garden of Bliss is easier than it looks – it’s a one-block quilt! Pink and Blue flower blocks are separated by punchy white, red and taupe blossoms. Stripsets make quick work of the piecing, and wide borders finish off the quilt. I really hope you love this pattern and try it in your favorite colors; we love seeing your finished quilts!

If you’d like to make one with Petal, we have kits available. Be sure and pick up a copy of Simply Quick Quilts for more of Garden of Bliss!
