The Binding Box by Fat Quarter Shop and Aurifil Threads

Have you heard? We introduced our very own Aurifil Thread Box! Today we are going to tell you a bit more about The Binding Box, Fat Quarter Shop's exclusive thread collection! This box contains 12 brilliant colors that match perfectly with the common colors of binding. Use this box and you will never see your stitches again!

Kimberly chose these Aurifil Thread colors herself, paying close attention to the colors she commonly uses in binding. This thread is a dream to sew with. If you have not tried sewing with Aurifil, now is your chance! It is just as smooth and silky as everyone says. We wanted to show you some of the colors in the box with coordinating bindings. Keep reading to see how we matched the colors!

The Aurifil Coral Red looks brilliant with this solid red binding. We would love to give you more information about this stunning quilt, but you will just have to keep checking our YouTube channel to find out when the pattern releases! (hint, hint)

The Aurifil Spring Green is so dimensional, it blends right into the Grunge Basics Pear binding used on our Moon & Stars Quilt Kit. We adore these beautiful grungey tones.

Who doesn't love a pale blue? Aurifil's Light Blue blends perfectly with the Wallflowers fabric collection by Allison Harris of Cluck Cluck Sew. This is our very own Primrose and Poppies quilt!

The gorgeous Charcoal Thread will mix well with a variety of grey tones. The Ritzy Bitsy Baby Quilt and Charcoal Thread look so stunning together, don't you think?

The Aurifil Navy Thread is a great companion to a classic navy dot binding, like in our Walk in the Park Quilt Kit. The blues are rich and navy is always in style.

Soft pink is the essence of shabby chic. Use Aurifil Baby Pink for your pink bindings for a classic, shabby chic look. Just take the Liberty Stars quilt by Kimberly Jolly featuring Love & Liberty by Robyn Pandolph. A match made in pink heaven.

With six more colors, The Binding Box is a beautiful, luxurious, saturated rainbow of color for the last touch on your quilt. The possibilities are endless. What color binding will you sew on next?
