Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks Vol. 10 Blog Tour

Hello everyone! We're delighted to be a part of Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks Vol. 10 Edition! This issue of Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks marks the 10th volume of the popular block magazine and that means they have published 1000 original block designs, how amazing is that?

To celebrate this momentous occasion, Quiltmaker also compiled a video of all of their designers. We had a chance to record the video at the Fall International Quilt Market in Houston last month.

Ready to see our blocks? Let's start with Kimberly's Starberry block! She gave a traditional star block a modern twist and used the whimsical prints from the April Showers collection by Bonnie & Camille

Next, is Jocelyn's Parasol block. For her design, she was inspired by the structure of umbrellas and added a touch of glamour using the Glitz collection by Michael Miller Fabrics.

Sarah's Well-Suited Block is a throwback to her childhood in the 90's. She was inspired by the "power" ties that her dad loved to wear! She felt that the Botanics collection worked perfectly with her design as well!

Want to learn how to make our blocks and 97 more? We are giving away three copies of Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks vol. 10 to three lucky winners! To enter our giveaway, all you need to do is to comment on our blog post and let us know which block would you like to make from the Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks vol. 10.
And the winners are...

Don't forget to visit the Quiltmaker website for giveaways and more blocks from other designers as well. Have an amazing day and happy quilting.

I would love to make Josalyn's Parasol block!. I have always had a soft spot for pinwheels and I love how her block elaborates on that basic structure. It gives me more scope for using more colors, but it's not over complicated or contrived feeling. I really love it! Magistra13 at yahoo dot com

Well Suited would be a fun block to make for pillows for my little nephews, who don white shirts and ties for special occasions and are cute as can be in them.

Well Suited already made it to the front so I say Starberry would be a great second cover block.
