FQS Takes on a BOM Month 5

Hello guys and welcome back to another monthly recap of our Block of the Months! If you missed our last post, click here to see what we've been up to. 
May has been a very busy month for Kimberly and the FQS Staff. We came back from Spring Quilt Market with a lot of new goodies to share but Kimberly still managed to squeeze some sewing time in her schedule. 

This month's Snapshots block is Kindred Kitchen and we loved all of your amazing blocks on our Facebook Group and Instagram. 

This month's 2015 Aurifil Designer of the Month mini quilt was designed by Lynn Harris. Kimberly used the Modern Minis collection by Lori Holt of Bee in My Bonnet and added a twist by adding borders to the quilt. 
And her Threads of Time Block of the Month blocks are coming along!
Jocelyn is almost done with all of her Chandelier Quilt Along blocks! We cannot wait to see all of the blocks together. 

Codi's fifth block from Pat Sloan's Vacation Time Mystery Block of the Month is sew much fun! 


Codi's version of the 2015 Aurifil Designer of the Month is simply colorful. She used a variety of prints from the Elizabeth collection by Tula Pink and used a navy solid as a contrasting background (and check out that quilting!).


After last month's hiatus, Sarah is back and ready to sew! She finally quilted her Mystery Monday Sew Along. Love that polka dot backing! 

Nova has been busy sewing this month to catch up on all of her block of the months. Her Power of Nine Patch BOM is still going strong and we're loving her blocks. 

Her Quiltmaker's Bitty Blocks are so itty bitty and cute! 

Her Forest is also growing and now with a sun! If you love paper piecing, you should definitely join the Forest Quilt Along by Quilt Art Designs. 
Kat's Wizzrobe block has teleported himself out of the dungeon to our Jolly Jabber Blog today. If you love Zelda, be sure to check out the Zelda Quilt Along by Cora's Quilts.
