Cozy Christmas Sew Along - Recap #1!

http://www.fatquartershop.com/cozy-christmas-quilt-kit

Hello, Quilting Friends!  Are you sewing along with Lori Holt's Cozy Christmas Sew Along? We are, and so far we've stitched up five of the cutest blocks that you ever did see. Seriously!  We're sharing our first month's blocks today, and hope that you'll start sewing along if you haven't already.  This sew along will wrap up in November, which will give you time to quilt and bind this beauty before Christmas!http://www.fatquartershop.com/cozy-christmas-quilt-kit

No need to pick out fabrics if you like the quilt the fabulous Lori has designed - we have a Cozy Christmas Quilt Kit, a coordinating Backing Set, and all the other goodies you'll need to make your quilt. You can read all about this quilt-tastic sew along event HERE, in our sew along introduction post.

We won't keep you waiting any longer: here are our first blocks in the Cozy Christmas Quilt!

I mostly piece, but use applique in my quilts frequently. Thanks for the giveaway!

I use fusable appliqué when I do. I'd love to try needle turn, but it's always been a bit daunting.

I have tried appliqué on small projects, but never on the scale of a quilt!! The giveaway looks great. Thanks.
