Great Granny Sew Along

Sew along with the Great Granny Sew Along!

Sew Along with us to make the cute Mama's Crochet Quilt, designed by Lori Holt of Bee in my Bonnet! Our Sew Along project uses instructions from Great Granny Squared, so you will need a book on hand to participate!

Each week, with the help of 12 bloggers, we will help you make your blocks, show plenty of photos, and give away prizes! To help you with cutting, we created some handy PDF companions which will be found below. Be sure to check back here each Monday to download the PDF.

We will be giving away a bunch of Lori Holt approved prizes throughout the sew along. To enter the weekly giveaways, post a photo of your blocks to the Great Granny Squared Flickr Page ! Winners will be announced the following Monday on the Jolly Jabber!

Order your copy of Great Granny Squared and get ready for this vintage-inspired sew along!

I hope it is okay that I went outside the box and did knitting needles in place of a crochet hook! I am using scraps from my moda scrap drawer.

There's weekly prizes. How do I participate? I joined because the blocks were a great incentive , but a prize is icing on the cake. Lol

Oooh! My favorite sewing tool? Easy... those sticky rolling lint picker-uppers! They pick off cat hair, pull lint out of cracks on the cutting board, picks up ALL those tiny threads that your seam ripper just wreaked havoc on, and it will even pick up needles and pins when they jump off of your sewing table! I hope the lint roller becomes your best sewing tool too! Thank you for this lovely giveaway!
