Fig Tree Quilts is here to show off one of their patterns, featuring Mill House Inn and their newest fabric collection. We hear from Joanna's blog that there will be special "snuggles" fabric, and Debbie can't wait to get her hands on it at Market!!
Given that our fabric arrived so late this year and Market is so early ... Well its made for an interesting combination! But what it has also done is that most of our new patterns are made from both our current line, Mill House Inn, and our upcoming line ... Whimsy. It is our first kid’s line and we are so excited to show you more of it in the next couple of days. Whimsy was designed in order to work as both a kid’s collection and as simply a fresh, retro collection. There are two main “kid’s prints” in the group that if removed, leave you with a fun, retro collection for all of those Fig Tree fans out there. Once you start seeing swatches [ not quite yet], you’ll see how versatile it really is.
Jelly & Jam Quilt Pattern
But here is one of my favorite new patterns in three different color ways! Jelly & Jam is the main Mill House Inn quilt. Christmas Jelly is the green and red version. Jelly Breakfast is the Whimsy version. It is a super simple Jelly Roll quilt. One of the gals who sews for me said "this is for sure the best jelly roll pattern I have ever sewn. It is simple, quick and and looks more complicated than it is." I thought that was the best review that it could get!
Stay tuned for more quilts and fun projects in the next few days before Market.
Oh and I almost forgot, if you haven’t been by recently, come on by our website to see our recent "freshening" up. We have added some wonderful, romantic new images and graphics and will continue to update a few more things in the upcoming weeks. We are so happy with how it is turning out. Let us know what you think??
Okay, enough chatting, gotta go finish up those booth decorations.
Talk to you all soon!
