Book of the Month: Simplify

Hello everyone! Welcome to our first Book of the Month feature of 2012! This month we are featuring Simplify by Camille Roskelley of Bonnie & Camille. The darling Camille is here today to chat up on her thriving book.

And don't forget, the Book of the Month is 20% OFF all month long!

First of all, thank you so much to Kimberly and the rest of Fat Quarter Shop for picking my little book to feature this month. Such an honor!

Simplify is my very first (hint, hint) book with C&T/ Stash Books, and even though it has been out for a little while now, I still have to pinch myself every so often to see if it's real. Writing books has always been a dream of mine, and it was so fun to see this book become a reality.

(We added one more boy since that family photo. Yep, three boys. Hence, the need to keep it simple over here.)

A couple of my favorite projects in the book?

The Dream Big quilt,

with matching pillows (which you can whip up from precut leftovers in a jiffy).

And Happy-Go-Lucky; I remade here out of Ruby.

There are 10 quilts in the book, all made from Moda precuts. All simple projects that vary in difficulty. Some you could put together in an afternoon, and some might take a few weeks depending on how many little interruptions you have. (I have 3. ;-)

This book is all about simple. Simple fabric choices, simple projects, and simple construction designed to make the simple life more beautiful - Because that's how we roll over here.

Keep it simple!

Camille
