Pattern Play with the Fat Quarter Shop!


It is now time to play a NEW game we are calling Pattern Play! A FQS staffer will select any pattern from the Fat Quarter Shop and we challenge YOU to select the perfect fabric collection to go with that featured pattern. You will go to our website and browse around to find the perfect match for that pattern. A winner will be selected every week and will receive a $50 Gift Certificate to our website! Just in time for the holidays!

  3. I am already making Debonaire in Sweetwater's Hometown, which I love, but for a different take I would like to make it in Double Chocolat and use some of the reds and deep browns.

  5. Since the word debonaire means gracious, suave, and gentlemanly I would choose a fabric line for a man. Nothing with flowers and such. I would use Tide Pool Batiks. It has very handsome fabric such as "chestnut herringbone" and "Seagull Houndstooth". I think the browns, greens, and blues would make a perfect quilt for the "debonaire" in my life.

    It is lovely and soft looking and would be fitting with the traditional look of Kevin's choice of pattern.

  160. I would use Friendship Tea by Sandy Lynam Clough. The tea cup fabric, with the black polka dots and the pink damask. I really like the pattern he picked out. Good luck!

    I love that it has dark tones and light tones with the gold weaved into just about all of them. Great color scheme!!
