The Fat Quarter Shop and Joanna Figueroa of Fig Tree Quilts have teamed up to present you with a Fat Quarter Shop Exclusive! Joanna has specially selected 12 prints from her Butterscotch & Roses collection along with 3 coordinating Bella Solids for this special bundle you will only find at the Fat Quarter Shop.
Q: What inspired you to pick the colors and designs in your Designer Select Fat Quarter Bundle?
A: I started off by trying to choose a good combination of prints for the bundle that would allow you to have enough variety to complete an interesting quilt or home decorating project. Once I felt like I had a good group to work with, then I just sought out all of my favorites! I had to try hard not to make the whole grouping caramels and chocolate browns! I also love the idea of adding in the Bella Solids as I think they really “punch” up the other colors in this collection.
Q: What are 3 words you would choose to describe this collection, not including any of the fabric designs!
A:
1. Rich & Elegant
2. A Harvest Table
3. Wine Country in the Fall
*2 Truths and a Lie*
1. I am dying to have a chicken coop in my backyard.
2. I speak three languages, one of them being French.
3. I only own one sewing machine, an old Bernina.
One of the 3 statements is false. Comment on this post telling me which statement you think is false. Answer correctly and you have a chance to win Fig Tree Quilts’ Designer Select Fat Quarter Bundle!
You have exactly one week from the post date.
Good Luck!
I going to guess that #3 is a lie....doesn't everyone have more than one machine??
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful bundle!! I think #3 is false, she must own more than one machine!

#1!
ReplyDeleteI'm also guessing #3...probably wrong, completely a guess. Hugs...
ReplyDeleteI only have one machine ... and I speak three languages, including French ... I'm guessing #1 is the lie! Thank you! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking the false statement is #1, the chicken coop. Lots are guess #3 but it's not unusual for a quilter/designer to have just one sewing machine.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, that is a tough one. I think I'll go with #3, although any could be plausible fibs! Thanks for the fun!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing number 2 is the lie. Because I only own one sewing machine and I'm dying to have chickens in my back garden!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI pick #3 as the "lie". Can't be true, no way ;)
My guess is #1 :-)
ReplyDeleteI think it is #3. Who only has 1 sewing machine? :)
ReplyDeleteI would guess 3 although I wouldn't be surprised. Some people are very loyal to one machine. I only have one that works right now... ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing #2. I don't know why. Love the fabrics, though!
ReplyDeleteWow, this is a real toughie! I'm going to guess #2.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess that #2 is wrong. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteMy guess is #1. I only had my one old Bernina for a very long time and did just fine with it.
ReplyDeleteSeems like I remember reading something about a chicken coop on her blog, so I think #1 is true. I also think I remember her speaking in French, so I think I am going to go with #3 is false.
ReplyDeleteI think number 3 is false!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this fabric.....please,please please pick me!! I would have to guess #2!
ReplyDeleteNumber 1 must be true...I've seen the cutest tea towel pattern on her blog, and it was a chicken! I would not be surprised if she can speak several languages. I think number three must be the fib!!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing #3. I'm in love with this collection and have so many ideas for it!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing #3! Love the fabric
ReplyDeleteI'm going with #1, the chicken coop.

ReplyDeleteandersonclanatmacdotcom
#3 must be wrong! today's fq bundle is gorgeously romantic... love this bundle!
ReplyDeleteMy guess is that number three (I only own one sewing machine, an old Bernina) is the lie.
ReplyDeleteI think it is #1. Love Fig Tree fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI think #3 is wrong.. I bet she has more then one machine.. hehe
ReplyDeleteLove this new line from Fig
I'm picking 3 as the fib. Joanna sounds cool enough to be multi-lingual and raise her own chickens. :-)
ReplyDeleteI have to say #3 as I thinkshe would have more than one machine
ReplyDeleteThis fabric is so beautiful. She is one of my very favorite designers. I think number 3 is the lie.
ReplyDeleteThanks for offering this!
I love her fabrics! I think #3 is the lie.
ReplyDeletemaybe #2. love the fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI'll guess #2 is the lie
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing #3 is a lie. Even I have more than one sewing machine - a Bernina and a featherweight. Kathie L in Allentown
ReplyDeleteJust guessing but I think perhaps #1 is the lie.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing #1 chicken coop is a lie! ;0
ReplyDeleteThe lie is #3 about owning just one sewing machine.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing it's #2.
ReplyDeletemy guess is #3!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing #3 is the lie. Love the new fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing #3 is a big fib. I'm just an ordinary person, not a fabric designer and I have more than one sewing machine! Thanks for the chance to win :D
ReplyDeleteI am guessing number 2 is false!
ReplyDeleteI am sure that #3 I only own one sewing machine, an old Bernina has got to be false. Beautiful fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI think #3 is not true, that I only own one machine. What a beautiful line of fabric!
ReplyDeleteCindy V. in Illinois
I follow your blog so I know #2 is true and I'm pretty sure #1 is also. So that leaves #3 as the lie. I think!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabric!! I'll guess #3 is false. Thanks
ReplyDeleteI pick number 1 as a lie, although I once raised chickens and LOVED those fresh eggs!! LOVE the fabric combinations!!
ReplyDeleteI am guessing #3 because I know she loves chickens since she shared her chicken applique, and I wouldn't be surprised that such a talented young woman knows multiple languages. Love her fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI'm ging to guess #3. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeletetwelve30{at}gmail{dot}com
Not everyone has more than one machine, but I'd wager she has that old Bernina and then something else too, especially if she does her own free motion quilting.
ReplyDelete#1 is the lie - I am guessing
ReplyDeleteKaren
Just a guess but I think # 3 is false.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to say #3 is false. Love this new line! Thanks
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing number 2 is false. Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess #1. What a pretty group of fabrics!!
ReplyDeleteI think #2 is the lie! Gorgeous line of fabric!
ReplyDeleteOh what a yummy set of fabric! Love them all so I will guess #3 is a lie... hope to win!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing you do not know 3 languages including French :__) k.bugbee dot att.net
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing that #1 is a lie.
ReplyDeleteI think number one must be the lie, at least I don't think I'd want a chicken coop!
ReplyDeleteI love all of the Fig Tree fabrics -- they are so beautiful and elegant. To me, it just doesn't fit that the designer would be dying to have a chicken coop in her backyard! I'd have to say that #1 is false.
ReplyDeleteThree languages, yes, I believe that! The one sewing machine? Hmmm, the chickens? That's tough. I know she enjoys gardening and I can see the chickens fitting into that scheme, so I am going to say that she has more than one sewing machine. I believe #3 is false. As always, gorgeous Fig Tree fabrics! Thanks for a chance to win the special bundle selected by Joanna!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess #2 is the lie-the other two are just quirky enough to be true! :) This bundle is so pretty and "grown up"...I love it!
ReplyDeleteI will guess that number 3 is a lie.the fabric bundle is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing #3, everyone has more than 1 machine!!
ReplyDeleteI think #3, we all have more than 1 machine!
ReplyDeleteMaybe no #2
ReplyDeleteI think #3 is false! Thanks for the great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI think number could be the lie!
ReplyDeleteI think #2 is true, false may be either #1 or #3...
ReplyDeleteI'd say #1.
I'm thinking number 3 is a lie; only beginners seem to have one machine; the rest of us have at least 2, not counting overlockers and coverhem
ReplyDeleteYo creo que la respuesta falsa es la 1.
ReplyDeleteBesos
I think that number 3 is false! Keeping my fingers crossed.....!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful fabrics. I am guessing that 3 would be the fib. Thanks so much for this giveaway.
ReplyDeleteChristine M. luv2sew50@yahoo.com
Thank you so much for this giveaway. Those fabrics are so lovely! I think that #2 is false.
ReplyDeletehmmmmm......I think #2 is false
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing that number 3 is false. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteman... i'll say number 3 is false.
ReplyDeletei love the fabric line. it's so cozy and sweet.
I will guess that # 1 is not true. Chickens are a lot of work and caring for them would take time away from sewing:) Loving the new line of fabrics- of course:)
ReplyDeleteMy guess is number 2 is the lie. Linda
ReplyDeleteI'll guess#1
ReplyDeletemy guess is number 2. Thanks. The fabrics are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'll guess that #1 is the lie.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing number 2! I do love Butterscotch and Roses! It's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIs the lie #3? =)
ReplyDeleteAll of them seem possible but surely only one machine is hard to live with. I have 5 and I love them all so I am guessing that #3 is a lie.
ReplyDeleteI love this fabric range.
It must be number 3 - even I as an amateur have 2.
ReplyDeleteI'll guess #3 is the lie! Hope i win thanks!
ReplyDeleteSurely #3 is the lie. If not she should use the profits from this fabric line to buy a nice new machine.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing #2 is false. I think Joanna speaks more than 3 languages.
ReplyDeleteI think #3 is false.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is no. 3.
ReplyDeleteI love Fig Tree fabric! I'm sure that #1 is false.
ReplyDeleteI realy, realy love this Fig Tree collection and I would love to have som to play with !!! ;-))

ReplyDeleteSorry I forgot to answer the question... I guess number 3 is false ;-))
ReplyDeleteI realy, realy love this Fig Tree collection and I would love to have som to play with !!! ;-))
I think number 2 is the lie.
ReplyDeletePrincess Tanya
I think #1 is false. Beautiful collection~!~
ReplyDeleteI am going to guess #2
ReplyDeleteWell, you certainly didn't make any of the choices easy did you LOL. I will guess #3 since even I (a beginner) has 2 machines.. although one of them doesn't work.
ReplyDeleteI think #1 is false.
ReplyDelete#3, if you only have one machine, then you must get another one so you can play with your daughter and grandbabies. Fig Tree - I LOVE EVERY ONE ONE OF YOUR LINES SO FAR!
ReplyDeleteI have always loved everything she does, there is something about those subtle colors. I'm going to guess #3.
ReplyDeleteI think #2 is false! I Love this collection, but then I love all of the Fig Tree lines!
ReplyDeleteSusan
fourseasonsfarm@windstream.net
Thanks for the chance! I would say the number two is the false one!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess that #2 is a lie. Great giveaway, very pretty fabrics.
ReplyDeleteCalifornia Girl looks just dreamy!! I think the lie is #2.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity to win some fabric!
I think #1 is the lie as because who has time for a chicken coop when there's all that beautiful fabric to play around with!!
ReplyDeleteI know for sure that #1 is correct. (I would love one too!)
ReplyDeleteI think Joanna is a pretty smart cookie, so it wouldn't surprise me that she knows more than one language.
I know a lot of really talented quilters and designers who only have one machine, so it wouldn't be shocking to me at all if she is among them.
So......I'm going with #3 is False.
It would be so wonderful to win this gorgeous bundle.
Thanks for the chance!!
Beautiful fabric. I'd love to win some.
ReplyDeleteI'll guess number 2 is the lie.
I think #3 is false. Joanna did a chicken design for the Country Fair so she probably secretly covets a chicken coop in the back yard, and with all her trips to Europe I'm sure she can speak more than one language. As for #3, there are not many quilters with just one machine! Have to have a back up you know!
ReplyDeleteI would have to guess that number 3 is the lie. But then stranger things have been true - lol!
ReplyDeleteThis fabric is so pretty, I hope I win it!! I think #3 is a lie.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
I'll go with #2 being false, as everyone needs chickens and at least 2 sewing machines.
ReplyDeleteGuessing #2 ... 3 languages. She probably knows more than that! Fig tree colors and designs remind me of (well deserved) lazy afternoons -- simple, accepting, quiet, unhurried, lazy afternoons.
ReplyDeleteI will guess #2!
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna go with #3 because it almost seems impossible !
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance :)
I think the first comment is the lie. Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking #3 is false. I hope! Thanks for the opportunity to win!=)
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing number 3. Love this fabric.
ReplyDeleteI think #3 is wrong - She must have more than 1 sewing machine!
ReplyDeleteI am going to guess #2!
ReplyDeleteOh, what pretty fabrics! I think number 3 is not true. Even I own more than one sewing machine! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess #2 because who has time to learn languages when there are so many quilts to make? hee hee
ReplyDeleteI'll take #3. Beautiful fabric and thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteGreetings from germany
Hildy
hildy@ebertzeder.de
I"m just guessing #3. LOve the fabric!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing #3 is the lie. If it isn't that's just sad!!
ReplyDeleteI think # 3 is the false
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabric! I'm guessing #3 is not true. thank you for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteLove the fabric, such wonderful colors and prints. I am going with #2 as being false. Thanks for a chance to win this fabric.
ReplyDeleteI think #1 is the lie. Thank you for the chance to win Joanna's beautiful fabrics. Take care and God bless, Cory
ReplyDeleteI am guessing that The one about the chicken coop is a fib but it is hard to tell because the other two are very believable.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win such lovely Fig Tree fabrics.
Regards from Western Canada,
Anna
I think #2 is false... love the fabrics!
ReplyDeleteHave to guess no.1...love your designs!
ReplyDeleteI think #3 is the lie.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!
Shawn In Michigna
I also think that number three is the lie. Sure would love to win.
ReplyDeleteI am going to guess #2 is the lie.
ReplyDeleteI am going to go with #1. Anyone that describes their collection as Rich & Elegant, A harvest Table and Wine Country in the fall doesn't sound earthy enough to want a chicken coop.
ReplyDeleteI am going to guess #2 as wrong. I'm pretty sure she speaks 2 languages but not sure about the 3rd.
ReplyDeleteThanks for doing the giveaway. I love the colors in this collection!
After listening to Joanna's interview with Pat Sloan, I can say with confidence that #2 is false.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a tough one. I love this line so I'm going to guess #3. I'm cheaper than cheap and I own 2 machines, one new bernina (I splurged after 23 years with a Janome) and a serger (which is a sewing machine in my books).
ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess #2.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to go with number 1.
ReplyDeleteI am going to guess #3 is a lie. Love the designer pack. thanks, kathy
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing #2. carrie dot hare at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteI am guessing #3 is a lie - only 1 sewing machine??? Nope
ReplyDeleteQuilting by the River
I think #2 is the lie. I'm sure she speaks more than one language. I'm just guessing that one of them is not French.
ReplyDeleteI have to go with number 3...but it seems too easy! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing #2 is false. I know she speaks two languages, but I've never seen where she has mentioned French. I know she would love chickens and it wouldn't surprise me if she has stayed with just her trusty old Bernina!
ReplyDeleteI am going with #3. Who knows if I am right but I like to think she has more than one :)
ReplyDeleteI too think that #3 is false.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
ap_lemos at yahoo dot com
I am guessing that #3 is not correct - you have to have more than one sewing machine.
ReplyDeleteChicken Coop - NOT! #1 is a lie!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing #3 is incorrect~!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing #2 is the lie because she very likely can speak more than three languages. As for #3, the irony of it tells me it's true - she does have one machine. And some people have a special place for chickens in their hearts - so it has to be #2.
ReplyDelete#1 is not true!
ReplyDeleteLOVELY FABRICS!
THANK YOU!
I'm going to guess #1 as the lie.
ReplyDeleteIt has to be #3!! This line is beautiful, hope I win!!
ReplyDeleteLisa L
I LOVE her fabrics! Number 3 is the lie. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteGuessing #1 is the lie. :)
ReplyDelete#1 is false
ReplyDeleteI'm going with #2 as the lie!
ReplyDeleteI think number two is the lie.
ReplyDeleteI'm going with #2!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess #3 is false. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing the first one is false. I love all your beautiful fabric!
ReplyDeleteI am going with #2 as a lie. Love
ReplyDeleteJoanna Figueroa/FigTree fabric. Thanks for the giveaway.
I think number 2 is false. Thanks for a chance to win awesome fabric!
ReplyDelete
