We have such a fun quilt along for you! Starting TODAY through November 2017, we will be giving you a new block each month, complete with a finishing guide at the end of the Bella Skillbuilder series!
What is the Bella Skillbuilder? It's a ten-month series, with each month revealing a new block, and exercising a new quilting skill! The quilt was designed exclusively for Fat Quarter Shop by Sherri McConnell.
The blocks will be released on the first of each month, and the best part is - they're free! Check back to our Bella Skillbuilder FAQ page to download your free pattern and get started on a new block each month! (It helps to bookmark this page, so you always have it easily accessible!) We will also have video tutorials to accompany each pattern, and help you along the way!

I cannot seem to find where the fabric quantity (for total quilt) is listed anywhere. Can this be added to the FAQ page, please??
ReplyDeleteI would like the total yardage also as I might want to switch out the blues for greens... Please and thank you...
ReplyDeleteYou guys look great color coordinated!! This skill builder is a great idea. I have been quilting of and on since I was 20 in 1984 and I can use a refresher course in many of the new, or old techniques .. Sherri I love your blog , always kind , sweet and respectful. Your quilts are wonderful !! Izzy from NJ
ReplyDeleteI'd love to join in but with prefer to use a different color scheme. Can you post yardage requirements? Thanks, and thanks so much for doing this skill builder. Can't wait to start!!
ReplyDeleteIt`s stunning.Love your fabric eye. Thanks for the pattern.
ReplyDeleteI am new to quilting, so I thought doing the Bella Skill Builder quilt would be a great way to improve my quilting skills. I noticed if you buy the kit you get all the block patterns at once. On each pattern there is a list of supplies you need to complete the block. Is there a place where all the supplies (even the more optional ones) for the whole year are listed? I don't have a lot of quilting supplies, but I am happy to order what I need. I live overseas, so I tend to order everything at once so I can save on shipping, hence the need for the full list. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWhat's the total yardage for each fabric please? I want to buy all at same time and I may change the colors. Thanks much
ReplyDeleteHi Necia! The complete list of needed rulers is on Notions part of the FAQ page! :) It lists everything that you will need (minus cutting mat, rotary blade, and other basic essentials :) )! I hope this helps!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteAs with everything else that you create, I love these blocks. I have a ton (well almost) of these solids and use them often. I don't want to run out of the colors I choose so would love to know approximately how much fabric of each is needed for the quilt. Would help a lot ... went to notions and found what I needed there but no fabric ... Thanks.
ReplyDeleteLike the other comments, I too would like a total list of supplies so I can buy all the fabric for a different color scheme prior to beginning the quilt. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHi there all! The yardage is on the FAQ page now. :)
