Pattern of the Month April 2013: Peyton at Play

It's time again for a new Pattern of the Month! Kevin Jolly is here today to tell you a little bit about our April Pattern of the Month, Peyton at Play! And don't forget, the Pattern of the Month is 20% off all month!

Peyton at Play is one of my all-time favorite quilt patterns. Not because I like to make it or because it is so well designed, but it is also named after one of my children! Peyton at Play will always hold a special place in my heart and make me think of my son.

Peyton at Play featuring playful collections by Camelot Cottons
In addition to the sentimental reasons for choosing this pattern as the April 2013 Pattern of the Month, Peyton at Play is a great pattern, perfect for children's quilts. It is a quick sew and stylishly shows off focal prints. Use your favorite, or your child's favorite, big, bold prints and create a themed quilt for them to enjoy.

The sample was made featuring Ann Kelle's Urban Zoologie, but it is seen here in red, whites and blues by Minick and Simpson. This patriotic version, by LA Quilter, is much more mature and belongs on a stylish sofa . What do you think? What collection would you feature in Peyton at Play?

  1. Happy-Go-Lucky by Bonnie and Camille. That might make it a girl's quilt, but I think it would be really cute.
