Believe it or not, this is an easy one-block design that results in scrappy pinwheels and a pieced sashing with an offset appearance. To leave the focus on the intricate looking blocks, I left it borderless.
Natalia Bonner quilted this with a simple swirl allover, which lends to the meandering feel of the blocks.
I love Café Paris and hope you will too! You can find kits at Fat Quarter Shop to add a little Paris to your home!
Beautiful quilt, lovely fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your videos with Natalia that I found on the Stash Books blog!
ReplyDeleteand the pictured quilt is cute too. I just bought this magazine & luckily it was still in the sack so it didn't get rained on last night like the QuiltMaker magazine! note to self: don't leave the magazines on the chair outside on the porch!
