I am from KC and I have my grandmother's notebook of the original newspaper clippings of these blocks that she kept from 1932-1960ish. Maybe someday I can actually make one since she is the reason I started quilting!!
ReplyDeleteMs De that is truly a wonderful thing to have the original newspaper clippings of these blocks. I would love to have that. I have been learning to quilt on my own with the help of the current magazines and that. I would so love to have the newspaper clippings to go from. Maybe I will go to the library and see if I can find them there.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful quilt by the way. I may have to check out the block a month.
