How to Use Grip Strips

Accurate piecing begins with accurate cutting! We have all experienced the tragic disaster of ruler skids. You've meticulously ironed your fabric and positioned your ruler and rotary cutter, then go in for the cut - and WHOOPS! A finger with a mind of its own relaxes slightly, the ruler slips, and you tearily eye the curved track of the cut on your precious ruined fabric. That's why, at Fat Quarter Shop, we love using our Grip Strips.

These little beauties are clear adhesive strips that stick to the bottom of your ruler and provide a firm grip for your fabric. This fantastic notion will save time and aggravation, because these little clear strips absolutely prevent any slipping.
The strips are self-adhesive, but can be re-positioned and leave no sticky residue.
One package of Grip Strips contains enough strips for one 12” ruler and one 24” ruler.
They can be used on any ruler or acrylic template and can be easily cut with scissors to fit any shape and size. And... for the month of September, they are 20% OFF ALL MONTH LONG! No more finger walking down your ruler as you cut!
