Since 2008, the Fat Quarter Shop Designer Mystery Block of the Month has been our pride and joy. Judging by your feedback, you have come to adore it as well! No matter how much we love our previous year's mystery quilt, the new one always seems to be better than the last (we hope you feel the same too!). So without further ado, here is our 2015 Designer Mystery Block of the Month sneak peek!
Isn't it a beauty? This year we used the Snowman Gatherings II collection by Primitive Gatherings for our program. Lisa Bongean of Primitive Gatherings also designed our quilt setting as well as one of the twelve blocks. She envisioned a dark and wintery snowman village, enhanced with snow-covered trees and bright stars. We are even including a special, exclusive button pack and spool of thread to finish off our smiling snowmen!
As always, we invited twelve prestigious designers to tackle a block for the quilt, and this year the challenge was to create a whole village for snowmen to gather 'round. Just wait until you see what they came up with! This year, our blocks were designed by...

I can't seem to find the monthly cost of the Block of the Month program. Before I get my heart set on it, could you point me in the direction of that information? Thanks very much.
ReplyDeleteBeth: $15 a month plus $5 to register
ReplyDelete@Beth hi! The cost to sign up is $4.99 and the Block of the month starts in June 2015, the price per month is $14.99 and this club ships around the 10th of every month. For more information, you can call our customer service or email cheryl@fatquartershop.com
ReplyDeleteDoes the monthly cost include fabric needed for the block?
ReplyDeleteI would like to know if it includes fabric too!
ReplyDeleteFound it. Yes it does. It says so in the print above the three sections, ie block, backing and finishing bits.
ReplyDeleteWhew. I thought it had to be somewhere, I just couldn't see it!!
For those of you worrying about whether fabric is included, just want you to know that I've done this several times, and generally there is enough fabric to make a second block if you stretch! Very generous packets.
