Spring Quilt Market 2015: Sunday

It's the last day of Quilt Market and our last chance to gobble up everything that Market has to offer.  Between appointments, we walked the whole show to make sure we didn't miss any little thing. I hope you enjoyed every last glance on Instagram and Twitter.  This Market felt extra amazing, and we're sad to leave all of our quilting colleagues, but thanks for the wonderful memories.
So excited to have Sherri McConnell and her daughter, Chelsi Stratton, become a part of the Moda Fabrics team!  Their Bright Sun collection promises a sunny outlook at FQS.
Guesstimation time!  How many butterflies do you think are on this dress at the Riley Blake booth?  Quilt by Melissa Corry!
You can always count on Jen Kingwell's booth to be stupendously scrappy.  We <3 Gardenvale -- Jen, teach us your ways!
We got the opportunity to know Sue Daley better, EPP extraordinaire and Penny Rose designer among other titles.  Where has she been all of our quilty lives??
Pat Sloan simply oozes with passion for everything quilting, and her fabrics reflect that joy!
Welcome Beth of 1Canoe2 to the Moda family!  The debut Tucker Prairie collection is excellent, and we can't wait to get our hot little hands on it.

A sneak peek at an upcoming "AGF Stitched with Kimberly" project.  We're thrilled to pieces, what do you think?

Kevin hanging out with seven lovely designers in the Riley Blake booth (don't worry, Kimberly's behind the camera) along with... Spiderman and Supergirl??  Anything's possible at Quilt Market!
How adorable are these elephants from the Backyard Circus collection by Jodie Carleton for Australian fabric company Ella Blue Fabrics?  We're excited to add them to our shop's offerings!

Riley Blake cuteness to the max.  Can't...resist...cuddling...
Sherri Falls chatting it up at the United Notions book for her Winter Wonderland.  We're grateful for the awesome reception her first It's Sew Emma book received at Market!
Soft and sweet, Kindred Spirits by Bunny Hill Designs touches our hearts.  You know we love pink, and pink for a cause is even better.

Our newest It's Sew Emma pattern, Tulip Fields is beautifully displayed at the Hazel collection display at Windham Fabrics.

The most welcoming "BOO" I've ever seen!  Happy Haunting by Riley Blake Designs
New Riley Blake designer Simple Simon & Company with Four Corners.  We're digging its starkness and pleasing prints.

On the flip side, Carina Gardner is back with a sweet hit of pink, navy and red in Wiltshire Daisy.
Modern Minis by Lori Holt!!  Currently on Kimberly's cutting table for her Farm Girl Vintage blocks.  This apron is made with the fat quarter panel with tons of fun prints to fussy cut!

Deb Strain is always a class act and a "hoot" to hang out with.

New Aurifil thread boxes coming your way!  You can SIMPLY never have enough COLOR.
Exploring the whimsical world of Anna Elise by Bari J. for Art Gallery Fabrics.  Congratulations to Bari for winning the Best Merchandising booth award!
And one last grin for the camera with Cindy Cloward of Riley Blake!
And finally, we saved the best giveaway for last.  Our friends at Aurifil Threads were kind enough to donate a whopping 300 mini spools for us to give away!

Enter our giveaway through Rafflecopter, and this contest will close on Sunday, May 17th at 11:59 pm CST.  Winners will be announced on Tuesday, May 19th on the Jolly Jabber.  Good luck everyone, and tune in tomorrow on Instagram and Twitter for our Market recaps and Favorite Finds!

  30. They're all gorgeous! But I think the taupe set would be the most useful. Gosh, I know, that's like going to an ice cream store and ordering vanilla! I love color, but my thread is usually neutral.

  33. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences via photos!! I have enjoyed "attending" through your eyes. The Aurifil Taupe Box has really captured my interest -- I used to "save" for fabric, but now will start "saving" for thread!!

  34. During my first quilt "lesson", my high school best friend who was teaching me to twenty years later told me quilting would make me desire all kinds of weird things. As an example, she said she was longing for a great big ironing board. I thought she was nuts. Now I would love to have a HUGE ironing board, and I can't decide which box of thread is the most delicious. She was right. Quilting has changed me in so many ways.
