2015 Summer Book Club: Quilt Lovely by Jen Kingwell

Hello everyone! Welcome to the 2015 Summer Book Club, where we are showing you some of our favorite quilty summer reads. Our first book this month is Jen Kingwell's newest book, Quilt Lovely

Quilt Lovely is jam packed with 15 projects that use traditional piecing and applique. This book also comes with paper templates for you to create your quilts. Here are some of our favorites from the book.
For the Boys quilt
Mrs. Bannister's Stars Pillow
Our quilty staff, Nova fell in love with the Flutterby quilt in the book and decided to sew up a mini version with the Forget Me Not collection by Sue Daley for Penny Rose Fabrics.
The blues and creams make this quilt look so vintage!

This book also showcases many of Jen's beautiful hand quilting, and we have an exclusive video to show you how she hand quilts on our YouTube channel. Stop over to see some of Jen's other video tutorials to learn all of her quilty tips and tricks.
