ReplyDeleteTrue Grips, school glue, and the Flatter spray are all new to me . . . and I really want to make a binding kit like hers!
ReplyDeleteSome great tips! I don't have books, normal glue, Flatter or Swedish Fish laying around at my sewing table ... I think i need all of them:-)
ReplyDeleteSpeaking from recent (frustrating) experience, the binding kit is a necessity in my sewing room. Wish I had known of its existence prior to last weekend, when I was wrestling with an uncooperative quilt--or perhaps I was the uncoordinated, uncooperative partner in the equation.
ReplyDeleteWell, the candy is a new "quilting notion". I never heard of the Flatter spray starch, so that is new also.

ReplyDeleteThe fingertips are new to me and HOW WONDERFUL are those!! I dislike wearing the gloves as well BUT I DO IT. I am going to get some on those babies! Also the Flatter Spray, i just use regular starch but i go through it rather fast. I do use a lot, but i dont know if its how it comes out of the can or how i use it. I might try some of the Flatter spray just to try. I like natural :) QUESTION: Is there a pattern for her little notion bag? For my granddaughter to make?

It is so fun to see what other's like to use and compare to what I use. The nice part would be to craft several of the binding kits from the free tutorial to handle other projects such as embroidery and for a mending kit to travel with. Need to dig around in my stash and make up a few of them.
