The 2016 Crossroads Quilt Along Benefiting March of Dimes
Welcome to the 2016 Crossroads Quilt Along benefiting March of Dimes. If you're unfamiliar with March of Dimes, they are an amazing organization whose mission is to prevent pre-mature births. Today, one in ten babies are born prematurely, and many will not survive. Join us along with March of Dimes to ensure all babies have a fighting chance by donating to the cause!
If you're excited to join our quilt along and would like to sew our version in the Strawberry Fields Revisited collection by Fig Tree Quilts, we still have quilt kits and backing sets available at our shop.
If you would like to sew with your own fabrics, download the Fabric Requirements PDF.
Don't forget to check out our Crossroads page for more details about the quilt along. We will be releasing the first block pattern February 15 on the blog. See you then!
Very pretty quilt. It will be a fun quilt along.
ReplyDeleteMom to three former preemies here (now 18, 15 and almost 11) -- I'll be joining in this one for sure.
ReplyDeleteYes, My second daughter was a preemie. Two months premature. I cannot describe the support and encouragement offered by the March of Dimes.
ReplyDeleteWe have been donating every year since 1987. I want to make this quilt. Thank you so much for the awareness of this cause. Preemies can survive and thrive. My daughter is 27, beautiful, very intelligent and working for a major contractor in the Washington DC area. She is married and happy.
So beautiful quilt!
ReplyDeleteThis is just great, I have the original fat quarter bundle and extra yardage! I am in!!
ReplyDeleteMy family donates to March of Dimes because my dad had polio as a young teenager. He actually past away last year because of post polio syndrome. I will checking this out. Maybe making it in masculine colors in honor my dad.
