The Farmer's Wife Sew Along - an UPDATE!

Greetings!  We hope you're enjoying the Farmer's Wife 1930s Sew Along!  We've been posting Kimberly's blocks on Instagram, and love seeing these blocks come to life! We have a scheduling update for you today, and will also share a few pictures of the blocks Kimberly has created, as well.

The big news is that going forward one block will be posted per week instead of two per week.  Not only will this give everyone more time to complete these lovely blocks, it will also extend the fun of this Sew Along!

Each block will be released on Tuesday at 7:30 AEST (yep, that's in Australia), and our FQS blocks sewn by Kimberly will be shared within a few days of the release.

Here are some of the blocks Kimberly has pieced together in the last month:

Kimberly didn't piece the two sides of this one together since she's using them as half blocks in the setting.

Sew Along participants will need the Farmer's Wife 1930's Sampler Quilt book, which you can purchase here.

We've also curated a bundle of 1930's reproduction fabrics that is perfect for the Sew Along!

Oh, and if you love to color, here's a fun Farmer's Wife Coloring Book! It's a wonderful way to slow down, relax, and indulge yourself in all things Farmer's Wife.

We hope you enjoy seeing Kimberly's blocks each week, and hope you'll share those you create with us, too!  Happy Quilting!
