ReplyDeleteI have never used the sidewinder although I think it would be a handy notion to have.
ReplyDeleteI bought one once and used it for awhile but I dropped it (on carpet) and it never worked again - if someone gave me one I would try it again but doubt I would spend the money to purchase one
ReplyDeleteI've never used a Side Winder, but my sister in law has one and has used it for years. She seems to really love it.
ReplyDeleteI've had my eye on one for a while.
ReplyDeleteI don't have one of those yet, but it sure looks like a neat gadget.
ReplyDeleteI used one of my friend's at retreat when my machine quit winding nicely~ why do things like that happen when you are in power sewing mode?! It was great!
ReplyDeleteI especially love your Michelle Miller Norwegian Woods line.
ReplyDeleteThis is ingenious! Where has it been all my sewing life?!?this is ingenious! Where has it been all my sewing life?
ReplyDeleteDang, just lost my comment. Short version, I've had the Sidewinder for at least 5 years now and LOVE it. I just wish it had been around when I wound every single color DMC thread carries onto bobbins for applique. It's a WONDERFUL tool - no need to unthread your machine if you have one of these.
ReplyDeleteI have not tried the Sidewinder. I have thought about it in the past, but I never bought one. I always wondered how well it worked.
ReplyDeleteNo I have never used one but it looks like a real time saver. Thanks!

ReplyDeleteI have never used a SideWinder, but it sure would be nice not to have to stop in the middle of a project to wind a bobbin :)
ReplyDeleteNo fair! Now I want one of these, too, along with all the other neat notions on my Wish list! Lol!

ReplyDeleteI have not tried this, did not know it was available to be plugged in and not just battery.
ReplyDeleteI have never used a sidewinder but I'm thinking I should. I hate when you run out of bobbin thread and have to wind another one on your sewing machine in the middle of a project. I like the idea that you can plug it in.
